Our biggest need right now
Translate and record words in your language.
We're building open-source learning games for Nigerian languages, and this is where you can make the most difference. We need translators and speakers for as many languages as possible — people who can help translate words and phrases and record them so children hear a real, native voice. This can help with every language: Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Bini, Ijaw, Efik, and more. The more languages we work on at once, the faster we all grow.
You don't need to be a teacher or a linguist.
If you speak the language and can record clear audio on your phone, you can help. If you can translate, record, or do both, that is exactly the kind of contribution we need. Here's how simple it is:
- Tell us your languageEmail us and let us know which Nigerian language (or languages) you speak.
- We'll send you wordsYou'll get a short list of words and phrases to translate and/or read aloud.
- Record and sendRecord them on your phone and send them back. That's it — your translation and voice help teach children.
